
Quality was already in our DNA even before we became an industry, and it was officially codified in 1997.
Fully complying with HACCP standards since the beginning, in 1997 we asked and obtained the international food certification
BRC, a certification that implies preparing an internal strict Quality Manual giving the purposes and commitments we always intend to pursue and realize.
This document furnishes a complete summarized description of the organizational and operational structure, responsibilities, activities and our quality Management System documentation.
Apart from the manual there are also specific procedures with a detailed description of the methods for implementing and operating all activities affecting quality.
The manual is updated every year and available to anyone who wishes to have more details on our way of working.
The Tonitto Quality System is entirely managed by our QAM (Quality Assurance Manager) in synergy with our Quality Control manager.
After agreeing with management, production, research and development, QAM defines the standards for raw materials, production processes and finished products,
whilst Quality Control is materially responsible for ensuring that the standards are applied.
QAM is also engaged in keeping track of any law requirements updating, managing customers' claims and conducting a series of chemical and microbiological
analyses on all the batches of finished product.
